This mattress is soooo comfortable, the 5 stars is for this feature. The smell has been annoying. I have had the mattress around a month or more and the smell has not gone away, however it is lessening.

My partner and I both love this mattress. For my approx 200lb partner, it is medium-firm with some comfortable give. For me at approx 125lb, it's pretty firm and I hardly sink in at all, but I'm still very happy with it because it relieved some of my chronic neck and back pain within a few nights. No more pain and much better sleep for both of us!
The mattress is also a comfortable temperature, I sleep cold while my partner sleeps warm and it works for both of us. Great motion absorption. I used to always wake up to my partner moving but only sometimes now.

I was ecstatic to purchase my Temperpedic mattress and thought I made an informed decision after my research. I'm a side sleeper so I asked a lot of questions and tested mattresses from other companies before making my final purchase.
I've had my mattress for about 5 years now. Around year 2, I noticed an invisible indentation in the middle of my mattress, causing me to slide into it regularly. I never thought I'd have to climb out of bed literally and needless to say, I was quite disappointed. When I inquired about the warranty, I discovered my mattress doesn't qualify because the indentation is invisible according to Temperpedic standards. I've spent thousands of dollars for an uncomfortable mattress and have to replace it. I've wasted my money and will not purchase another Tempurpedic.

Looking for a mattress to relieve minor shoulder pain. Sleeping on this mattress caused immense pain in shoulders within 30 minutes. I have tried to sleep on it multiple nights and I have to get up and move to another bed. Worst mattress I have ever owned.

To say it feels like i'm sleeping on a could with this mattress is an understatement. I have slept so peacefully these last couple of weeks, but as I read in other reviews prior to purchasing, it does sleep HOT. The first night I woke up in a pool of my own sweat, and this is including a cooling mattress protector, and cooling sheets. My solution that works for me now is to just wear really light layers for pajamas, but I still find myself waking up in my sleep trying to adjust on different areas where it's cooler. I sleep alone so it's not the worst for me, but if you have a partner, I would consider a different model. I am even considering switching to the firm mattress to see if that makes a difference. The lovely thing about the store I went to and Tempurpedic as a company offers a 120 day sleep trial! I just have to sleep on this mattress for at least 30 days and if I decide to switch, I pay a $100 delivery fee and the difference of the mattress i switch to if it is more expensive. It's comfortable now as it's the dead of winter, but my fear is I will get no good sleep come the summer temperatures. Other than that, it really is a 10/10. The only downfall is how hot it sleeps. Would not recommend if you are already a hot sleeper.

I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore, and in the morning I wake up feeling more rested! Exactly what I needed! I don"t toss and turn anymore, so I get more continuous sleep. I wake up in the morning feeling more rested.
In the morning I realize that I've sunk about an inch into the mattress. Guess I've been swaddled like a baby. If I want to stay in bed a few more minutes and move to the other side it feels like lifting myself over a little hump.

We had an "original" TempurPedic mattress for over 20 years! It was great, and we were used to firm sleeping, so we replaced it with the LuxeAdapt Firm. It is a little too firm, but for some reason TempurPedic does not offer the LuxeAdapt in Medium (non-hybrid) feel. Why not?!?!

The mattress smells so bad we almost took it back after one night. When we called the store they said it was normal and would take a few days. We bought a new mattress because ours was old and we needed a good night sleep. First night of our first mattress was the worst sleep ever.
Also hoping the bed is not too hard. Tempurpedic might have been a mistake

We have had this Mattress 10 years and it's like sleeping on a ramp. We were told it had a 30 year warranty when we bought it but now Tempur-pedic says they would not honor the warranty. 5k for a mattress I expect more from a 5k investment, instead I get back and neck pain.

Horrible for the price! Quality is terrible. I have switched sides until no more switching is possible and already lost its "firm". It has split in 5 spots deep enough to bury my large adult male hand! This is the 3rd tempur mattress I've owned. Only one year old too! Submitting claim today.

I love my tempurpedic! I should've bought one of these years ago. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia and my hip and back pain is so much better than it used to be. My husband is sleeping better too. If he sleeps better, I sleep better.

We keep coming back to the Tempurpedic because when one person gets out of bed or turns over it does not disrupt the sleep of the other person in bed. It lasts about 14 years for us. It is always nice to get back to our home mattress for the comfort it provides.

Avoid purchasing Tempur-Pedic mattresses. I bought a Luxe Breeze (Firm) king-size mattress (from their flagship store in NYC), and within a year, the firmness deteriorated significantly, causing back pain. The sales agents were deceptive, and the Tempur-Pedic warranty is essentially a scam. Unlike traditional spring mattresses, memory foam doesn't show visible depressions (unlike traditional spring mattresses) so the warranty won't cover the mattress even if it loses its original quality.
In the unlikely event that you manage to achieve the required 1.5-inch depression (defying physics & gravity), they will only provide a credit to purchase another subpar mattress from their brand. In the end, you'll end up spending even more money. Save yourself the trouble and research reviews on YouTube or Reddit to find other horror stories similar to mine, else be subject to a 5k+ purchase that will only last you a year at best.

We owned the original tempurpedic mattress and loved it. When we replaced it with the firm tempurpedic luxe adapt split mattresses, one of the mattresses was 2" taller than the other. Both were off gassing even 1 month after delivery.
When the replacements arrived, one of the mattresses had no smell and the other SMELLED 10 TIMES WORSE than the first set we received. THE ENTIRE BEDROOM SMELLED AND I WAS UNABLE TO SLEEP ON THOSE MATTRESSES. Also, the mattress that didn't smell was much more stiff than the one that did. Where is the quality control???
After speaking with someone at the store, we made the decision to take advantage of the 90 exchange policy and go with the medium hybrid Luxe Adapt. The sales people at the store were very helpful.
We were scheduled for delivery of the medium hybrid mattresses between noon and 2pm. At 10:15, we received a call that they were 15 minutes away. My husband had to arrange his entire work day to get home on time for the delivery. At 11am, they still hadn't arrived and the driver was very rude on the phone. We rescheduled the delivery.
We also had another issue with the delivery company, when replacing the firm. It took several phone calls and lots of our time to get them to understand that they were both bringing new mattresses and taking away what was in our home. They wanted to only take away the mattresses and were rude.
We still don't have the medium hybrid mattresses and will again have to go through the ordeal of HORRIBLE OFF GASSING.
I welcome any help with this issue from your company.

I replaced my old sleep comfort bed after the air chamber got a leak. I have a Tempurpedic mattress for a Murphy bed and my guests love it, so I thought I'd try it for myself. I bought a split California king with medium firm LuxeAdapt mattresses. IT'S THE BEST THING I EVER DID FOR MYSELF! After about a week, the mattress settled and I've pretty much slept through the night ever since.

This is a wonderful mattress for someone who has aches and pains, is a light sleeper, and has difficulty finding the right comfortable position. As my injured knee was healing, the depth of comfort cradled my discomfort. I started getting deep sleep for 2-4 hours straight which I did not have before. The added benefit of not feeling my partner's movements allowed me to stay asleep. Traditional coil mattresses usually do not buffer those movements. Love it! I would buy again.
