Sales experience was great and personal. Selecting the right mattress was easy after testing out a few through the store after providing our sleeping habits. Delivery was quicker than expected and painless! Have had the bed for a good while now, and I’m waking up with much less pain! Thank you!

Kristin was absolutely amazing! She made the whole shopping experience painless and very informative. She had us try 6 different mattresses and based on the information given we were able to quickly pick the perfect one. Delivery was easy and they arrived right on time and were in and out in 15 mins. If I could give more stars I would!! Thank you Illini Mattress for the experience!!

We were in need of a good quality mattress without having to break the bank. We went to several mattress shops in the area but I wasn't particularly impressed with anything that we saw. We stumbled upon the unassuming illini mattress and were blown away by Ed's knowledge! He made us try each mattress and helped us find one that was the best fit for us. He was really kind, didnt try to upsell us and was an overall pleasure to work with. Delivery was quick and easy peasy. 5 years on, we are still thrilled with our "new" mattress and are going back to Illini Mattress to buy a mattress for our guest bedroom.

Recently visited Illini Mattress. We had purchased mattresses at Illini Mattress in 2016. Because of a recent medical issue I needed a solution to lower our bed several inches to make access easier. I didn't know what to do. Upon arriving Mike immediately helped me and explained options, and suggested a solution that would inexpensively lower our bed 4". Not only that, but they happened to have the solution (a thinner foundation) in stock. Then the next day, as per the plan, their delivery person Richard called to set up a time, and delivered the new foundation exactly at that time. They also set it up and took the old foundation away. A completely pleasant experience! Nothing beats local businesses that understand customer service!

We've needed a new mattress for a few years. After making several stops at the big name stores like Denver Mattress, Mattress Firm etc. we landed at Illini Mattress. We were greeted promptly within seconds. Our salesman was Ed. This guy knows his business. His scientific approach to what we needed was awesome. He has a wealth of experience. We were treated with respect, not talked down to and made to feel very welcomed. He was and continues to be a complete delight to deal with. My wife and I felt like they were there to help us - it wasn't about "making a sale". We purchased our new mattress and platform and had it delivered and setup for us. That was another great experience. The two young men that handled the delivery did a great job. This is one of the best experiences I've ever had making ANY purchase. It's taken me a little while to get used to the new mattress and I've made a call or two to talk to Ed looking for suggestions and received the same level of customer service. I could not be any happier. The best experience buy a long shot for my sleeping needs. I'm a customer for life. I will not even entertain looking or purchasing anywhere else.

I needed a new bed for my mother and I couldn't wait for weeks to get it. A friend actually suggested I go to Illini Matteress because I was originally headed somewhere else. Im so glad I listened. A local company that can deliver, set up, and haul away in just a few days? Yeah, ill take that over any other company. I cant say enough about this business. I had to spend a lot of money getting my mother's situation together and Illini Mattress made one of these expenditures so much easier than I thought it'd be. Im so grateful to them.

I needed a custom mattress for an antique bed. The entire staff was so helpful--from explaining mattress options to the measuring and fitting to the delivery. I genuinely appreciated their kindness and quick service as well as their skill in making a mattress set that could fit my bed frame. It looks great!

When I found myself suddenly (and prolly only temporarily!) a near-invalid, Ed came out and way exceeded my expectations so that I'd have a place to sleep that night! Plus he is even fashioning a custom headboard for the new bed. This is extraordinary service for which I am grateful, and I strongly recommend Illini Mattress from now on.

We've purchased five mattresses from Ilini Mattress over the last 10 years. Always a good experience. Ed is very knowledgeable and helped us pick the right mattress each time. No up-selling or weird pricing gimmicks. They only sell good quality Made in the USA products. Delivery guys are very friendly too. Highly recommended.

We have been purchasing our mattresses, box springs and mattress covers from Illini Mattress for years. Our first trip to their store was years ago after having a very bad experience at another mattress store in Urbana. Illini Mattress is a wonderful store, they have very good quality mattresses, box springs and accessories, and they stand behind their products. They take the time to talk with you and determine what type of mattress will fit your needs, as well as your budget. We have no intention of going anywhere else. Stop in and see Ed and his other knowledgeable staff. You'll be glad you did!

They are a home town mattress store that has been around for quite a while. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They give you time to try out the mattresses so you can be satisfied with your selection. Love this store!

I have never had anyone willing to spend so much time with us, and ran way past closing time. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, friendly. Ed is truly a kind and caring person. Goes out of his way to make sure you get everything you need and are completely satisfied. I will never go anywhere else again. A new experience. Not the same old department store sales treatment. Down to earth family ran business where everyone is wonderful. You receive the personal and genuine treatment that we all thought was dead. If you need a new bed, you MUST go to Illini Mattress Co.

Who knew you could be this excited about buying a mattress? I stopped by after visiting almost every other mattress company in the area. And this was, far and away, the very best. The owner spent his time going over what type of mattress I wanted, explaining what to look for and why. He was giving me all the information I needed to make an informed decision and was not at all pushy or overbearing. It was wonderful! I really feel like I bought the best mattress I could. Not only was it comfortable for me and the way I sleep, I know (from having visited a handful of other stores) that the prices are much more reasonable. I have never been so impressed with a company before. When I need a new mattress, I know exactly where I'll be going.

Seriously one of the greatest local businesses to support!I felt welcomed and informed when I went in to inquire about purchasing a mattress, which I had never done before. I never felt like I was being 'sold' something! I was just being given a bunch of information about beds and sleep patterns. I enjoyed speaking with Ed, the owner, and working with his daughter, Kristin. They were both helpful and supportive with what my needs were at that time.Also, they donate mattresses to Courage Connections (formerly The Center for Women in Transitions). Anyone can purchase a twin or double from the Connections store in Urbana and all the money goes to the organization...plus when women graduate from the program, Illini Mattress donates mattresses to her and her children. I am inspired by the humanity in Ed and his company and I am grateful that I found them for purchasing my first new mattress.Thanks!

I can not say enough wonderful things about the service and quality Illini Mattress offers. After loosing everything in a fire; they were there to help us get our family back in a home comfortably. Illini Mattress went out of there way to make us feel special and make sure we were happy with the beds we selected. I would highly recommend this company and family to anyone looking for a new bed.
